These are the gamepad controls for Inside [PEGI 18].

The controls are Move, Grab and Jump.

On Xbox one and PlayStation 4 controllers, these are assigned as the following controls: Left stick is Move, A or Cross is Jump, X or B is Grab or Square or Circle.

On PC keyboard keys can also be used as an alternative. These can be remapped to your preferred keys.

The following footage demonstrates the gamepad controls in use during gameplay,
using an Xbox One Controller captured on a PC.

The Left Stick is used to move.

Both the X button or B button can be used to Grab.

Either X or B held while moving the Left Stick will allow you to move an object.

The A button is used to Jump.

Whilst the Left Stick can control the speed of movement in analogue, speed will sometimes automatically be adjusted depending on the environment.

Exact timing of button presses during gameplay are often required to progress.

If you don’t complete a section, you’re able to retry it.

When in water, you use the Left Stick to swim to gain momentum.

When swinging from a rope, move the left stick back and forth as with moving an object when pulling levers or lifting items you hold X will be a move the left stir in the
direction you want to pull.
