Controls Menu

The Controls menu can be accessed by Options > Controls.

In the Controls menu, you’re also able to adjust aiming and look at settings such as sensitivity. From this menu you can also access the Customise Controls screen, which is also available from the Alternate Controls menu (Options > Accessibility > Alternate Controls). This includes options to remap controls, change controller orientation and camera settings. This is looked at in more detail in the Alternate Controls menu section on page 5.

Input

View Controls: Selecting this shows the default controller layout. Go to the Controls List section on page 4 to view this.

Customise Controls: This part of the menu includes options to change Controller Orientation, change how you use Left Stick and Right Stick (Default, Flipped While Aiming or Flipped Always). We will look at these in more detail in the next section as they can also be accessed and changed from the Alternate Controls menu section on Page 5.

Remember Shoulder Swap (On/Off): When On, the game will ‘Remember the shoulder your camera was over from the last time you aimed instead of defaulting to the right every time.’

Photo Mode Shortcut (Off/On): When On, you are able to ‘Enter photo mode by pressing L3 and R3.’ Leaving this setting Off can stop unintentional activating of this feature.

Camera Sensitivity

Camera settings allow you to customise how the camera responds to movement of the joysticks.

This setting allows you to choose how the camera movement responds to the joystick movement with separate settings for each axis, both whilst aiming and whilst looking.

Aiming Sensitivity X-Axis (1-10): Use this slider to ‘Adjust the horizontal speed of the camera while aiming.’

Aiming Sensitivity Y-Axis (1-10): Use this slider to ‘Adjust the vertical speed of the camera while aiming.’

Look Sensitivity X-Axis (1-10): Use this slider to ‘Adjust the horizontal speed of the camera when not aiming.’

Look Sensitivity Y-Axis (1-10): Use this slider to ‘Adjust the vertical speed of the camera when not aiming.’

Camera Inversion

You are also able to alter how movement of the sticks affects camera movement in-game with the inversion settings. Additional settings to alter how the sticks are are used, such as their orientation, can be found in the the Alternate Controls menu (page 6). 

Aiming Invert Y (On/Off) Select On to ‘Invert the vertical rotation direction of your camera while aiming.’

Look Invert Y (On/Off) Select On to ‘Invert the vertical rotation direction of your camera when not aiming.’

Aiming Mirror X (On/Off) Select On to ‘Mirror the horizontal rotation direction of your camera while aiming.’

Look Mirror X (On/Off) Select On to ‘Mirror the vertical rotation direction of your camera when not aiming.’
